The Canine and Wildlife Holiday Programme offers adventurous travellers an unforgettable opportunity to combine a love of nature with a passion for dogs and the opportunity to help communities less fortunate.

Our volunteer programme (minimum 3 week stay) is for candidates who wish to share in the African bush experience and learn more about how a working conservation canine unit functions as well as help rescue dog organisations. Participants take part in a community initiative, conservation dog handling, and practical fieldwork — all within an immersive, hands-on environment that’s both challenging and rewarding. In addition, you will help prepare food, assist with various gardening tasks, help with canine training and the smooth running of the courses.

Whether you’re an experienced handler or completely new to dog training, this programme welcomes all levels of experience — making it the perfect place to learn, explore, and grow alongside incredible dogs.
